The absolute Last Supper

So here it is then - the final date for the final gig, it's so weird looking at it knowing it's going to be the last time I ever perform Crass songs live on stage. I know that was the idea behind this Last Supper tour, but to see it in black and white in front of you like this really makes it final. I know that every gig I do is special and that me and the band put 1000% into every performance, but I have to admit to you all, this one will be special.
If you're thinking of coming, bring some tissues - it's gonna be emotional.

The Last Supper
O2 Shepherds Bush Academy
London
Saturday 19th November.  Doors 7pm
Special guests: The Cravats
(more to be announced.  and probably some unannounced ones too.)

Tickets £20, on sale tomorrow (17 Feb) from Ticketweb or the Southern web shop - UK tickets or if you live in Europe, use this link.

Thanks. Steve.

  3. Well, I went to the Bristol gig and, well, it was alright I suppose !!!! Bloody shame that these songs will only be covered (badly) in the future but I thank the Almighty Spaghetti Monster that I got to hear them played live properly. To hear them played properly, twice – Well … it makes me almost believe there could be an Almighty Spaghetti Monster looking out for me. Cheers to ALL the Last Supper gang.

  4. That is gonna be grrreat! Real glad The Cravats are playing too.By the way Steve, really enjoyed your book. Great read.

  5. nice one, see you there.

  6. If there is a god news will come in just before you go on stage that Thatcher is dead. Just make sure someone records the gig!

  7. Steve, if further dates are added…can you confirm that they will be before this date, not after it?

  10. Just Pre-ordered ticket. was at the last sheppards bush gig (and a couple in between)great to see the songs live as missed them when Crass performed them first time round.

    Cant’ wait.

one request please record this and release on DVD so we can continue to see the songs played live while Steve goes in to retirement ;-)

  11. I was a late Crass follower & that was by pure chance when I bought Merry Crassmas for 65p in 1985 (it was all I could afford on the YTS at the time) It really should have stopped there but I gave them another chance with Sheep Farming followed by quickly collecting everything Crass – good and not so good! I ran out of room on my bedroom wall for all the posters so began to pin them to the ceiling. Waking up to Maggie staring out you while shitting out sausages into a bucket was a bit disconcerting for a teenage boy but I got through it barely unscathed. Can’t wait to see at least part of the band that helped shape my ideals and views of the world but, please Steve, no Merry Crassmas encores!

  12. never say never……..

    • what time will this finish?just want to know to see if i can get a late train back to manchester, responsibilties to attend to so need to get back by early next day.
appreciate if you can let us know, better start trying to save bits of giros,if cameron doesnt abolish benefits and give us food tokens, they already do in some cases ,have been for a few years now.
if i dont make it have a good show, would like to see how carol soundsespecially i kind of helped her get the gig.
dont want to try and blag a place on the guest list, although i speak well when i’m well pissed.>:)

  13. Just seen The Mob have reformed for a gig in Bristol in April. Would be the best gig of all time if Steve could get them to support him in London! Please make it happen Steve…

    Cheers

    Robert

  14. Yeah that’d be an emotional gig; Steve Igs, The Mob, Zounds, Omega Tribe, Rubella Ballet… any more?

  15. Pre-ordered a ticket, just swinging by to request Thatcher on Acid reform and play this. Or failing that, The ‘Tone. Or basically, any band with Ben in… Schwartzeneggar? :-)

  16. Hey all,
Not missing this for the world.

    Wiggz

Been looking forward to this for a lifetime…….Got all my Crass vinyl (amongst others) safely boxed with the occassional time out to open it up and look through it like it’s the first time I’ve seen it. CD’s are great for the car tho! Anyway, all that aside I’ve got my ticket… coming down from Newcastle with my girl to make a weekend of it even though it’s not her thing…Each to their own, but she’ll enjoy herself without me for a few hours I guess.
