Belated thanks

Edinburgh. Thanks to Dod for the photo.

For the last nine days I have been trying to write a blog and putting into words how I felt when I performed the Crass songs again at The Last Supper in Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh.

I am overwhelmed by the support and positivity of everyone that was there. The atmosphere was fantastic, the songs still powerful. It was truly an amazing experience and the band and I really enjoyed it.

I would like to thank you all for coming to the gigs, taking part, spreading the word and above all joining in the celebration of Crass.

I also would like to thank Beki, Bob, Gizz and Spike for all their hard work and their dedication. Thank you to Nathan and Helga for working non-stop doing the merch. Thank you to John and Jon for promoting it and looking after us so well. Thank you to Jona for always being there in the background and last but not least a special thank you to Allison, for believing in me, listening to my ideas about The Last Supper and making it a reality.

  1. Wish I could be there – epic events! Please post videos if possible for those of us who won’t be able to share in the fun!

  2. Loads of great footage on you tube Birmingham was fantastic there is a massive void out there for you to fill Steve …the feedback from the fans at the gigs is out of this world I think you could sense that at bham there was so much emotion from everyone in the room .you must keep this up even if it’s just to make us old uns happy ps the rest of the band deserve a wealth of thanx ,they looked and sounded brilliant once again thanks to everyone who made these gigs happen

  3. Yeah have to agree with Paul. I was at the manchester gig and had a feeling of belonging, something I haven’t had for a long time. I’m sure the whole battle we all wanted to win, collapsed when Crass decided to call it a day. I know a few of us tried to carry it all on, but in the end it was all to no avail, the main people who rocked the big boat had had enough, and god did they try. But Crass will be with us all in one form or another. Anyway a big THANK YOU to Steve and all the band you brought a lot of great memorys flooding back to an old 46 year old. Hope to be down in the big smoke for the (Hopefully not) the last gig. Cheers

  4. While looking through the photo section, I was pleased to see some photos of Schwartz taken by a mate of mine Martin moon who sadley passed away 3 weeks a go. He would have been well pleased to see his shots up on this site. RIP mate

  5. Last Supper in Edinburgh was one of the best gigs I’ve ever had the pleasure of attending.
Totally and utterly life affirming, I felt privileged to be there. Thank you.

Really hoping to be able to make the final London show in 2011
