USA, Canada, New Zealand….

One week from today I'll be sitting on a plane on my way to NY with the band to start our tour of the USA and Canada.  And YES we have our visas.  Hard to believe there was so much fuss over a little piece of paper in my passport.  I keep checking it to make sure it's there.  It is, every time I look.  Me and the band rehearsed a couple of weeks ago and we're really excited now.  It was really hard on us all, having the tour moved back, but we're just putting all that behind us and looking forward to the gigs now.  Tuesday 20th April in Brooklyn will be Carol's first gig singing with us, so I hope everyone at that gig will give her a big welcome.

And I can hardly think about it now, but we're actually going to New Zealand now too.  Finally have confirmed two gigs there after our Australian dates.  Here's the details:

  • Wellington, Saturday 18th June  @ Bodega, Doors 8pm , show starts at 9pm
  • Auckland, Sunday 19th June @ The Kings Arms, Doors 6pm, (Early show - Steve Ignorant on stage 8pm sharp)

All shows R18, Advance tickets $40 NZ + b/fee from www.undertheradar.co.nz and Real Groovy Records (Auckland)

Going to New Zealand will be a first for everyone in the band I think, and we're really happy we could work it out to go there.

But first, we're off to conquer America!

Cheers

Steve

  10. yet another massive let down- why do so many artists completely miss out the south island? its fucking annoying, christchurch is screaming out for some quality entertainment, though admittedly it is harder to find venues since most of them fell down in the earthquake :)
