Pomona – 29 April – Fox Theatre

Two really great nights in Pomona, the first was at a massive place called Fox Theatre which held about 2000 people - gulp! - still we got on stage and did the set to a fantastic reception.  The Fox is an amazing old art deco movie palace which was built in 1931 and has recently been renovated.

We were joined at the Fox Theatre by a truly amazing band called Aztlan Underground. When I met them it was a truly moving moment for all concerned. Thanks brothers.

Again thanks to everyone for turning up.

  1. Wow! What a crowd!! Excellent pics!

  2. Awesome! Looking forward to the Melbourne show!

  3. The show was fantastic! Such great energy and amazing range of ages and folks. While I would have loved to see you all play in a more DIY location (without antsy security, wristbands etc) it just didn’t seem practical considering the large crowd. Sorry, I heard some not so kind folks swiped stuff off your merch table, considering how much free stuff you’ve given away all these years, it was sad that this had to happen at your LA area show. Also, had you all played in Los Angeles proper, I think you would have had to play at even bigger venue! Cheers for a great tour!

  4. That shit wuz dope I could actually see myself in the crowd wasted!!!! Good times thanks steve!!!

  5. What about the Glass House!!??

  6. Simply amazing. Thanks Steve for doing this for all of us who could not catch you the first time around.

  9. Thanks everyone. Yes Glasshouse pictures are ready to go up. I just haven’t had the time. It also takes me ages to do as I am not very good with this computer shit. Working on the laptop while the bus is driving is another challenge. So keep checking it will be on as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

  10. Steve we LOVE you! The world is a better place with you in it- so you need to QUIT SMOKING!!!!!!

Pretty please with sugar on top!

  11. I literally had the best day of my life at this show…and I can see myself in the pix! Haha. This will be a day I will remember for the rest of my life & I’m saving up to go to ur last show! Ack! Ur music is phenominal & I love how much passion u and everyone involved has put forth to make this happen. Thank you so much Steve!!! (:

  12. beautiful show. the most emotional i’ve been to. got a lump in the throat a couple times at hearing the songs that changed my life when i was a kid, but was unfortuneatly too young to hear live the first go round. carol was amaizing on all the songs she did. the band was beyond expectation. also, just finished “the rest is propaganda,” great read. thank you so much for this show, the book, and the music that made me feel like i wasn’t alone when life seemed at its most intollerable. with love.-nick o.
